Aroma AWK-115S Hot H20 X-Press 1-1/2-Liter Cordless Water Kettle

This Aroma water kettle is not fancy, but it works great. We've only had it about a month, but previous reviews have noted it's reliability so I'm confident we'll be using this to heat water for a long time.

The kettle looked very nice but was not efficient. The kettle took ages to come to the boil and to turn off. The "On light" was very difficult to see and the kettle too small. I would not buy this product again.

This kettle performs nicely now that I have cleaned it up. When I first received it the cap reeked of plastic which was affecting the taste of my water. However, after I cleaned the kettle twice with baking soda the odor was gone. Now the kettle just just right for what I need it for and looks great!

It's a good electric kettle. I drink a lot of tea, so an electric kettle is a must have accouterment. One thing I've noticed is that it boils for a long time before auto turning off. Also, there is no thermostatic control on temperature - just boil or off.

But like I say, it seems like a good product other than those slight problems.

Bought this for my daughter who has just moved to New York and needed this essential item of English life. How Americans live without kettles I fail to understand!

She said "The kettle is hot stuff - Bubble-tastic"

Which I guess means it does what it should; boils water very quickly and efficiently - and my daughter can sit down and have a nice cup of tea with her breakfast. Works just well when making coffee.
