Keurig My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter

Having been a Keurig user for several years now, I am very pleased to have recently purchased my own machine for my home office. The sad looks of neglected regular coffee bags began gnawing at me and my wife presented me with the K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter. Best purchase ever for a coffee addict. Not only does it make an amazing cup of your favorite store purchased blend, but it will also save you quite a few dollars on the investment of ready-made K-Cupped Coffees.

I certainly recommend this item as a must for any Keurig owner. The only cons are the amount of time it takes to clean the filter out after each use... so if you're incredibly lazy, just spend the extra money and get the ready-made K-Cups. For me and my money-conscious wallet, the investment has been worthwhile.

Bottom line, it's not a perfect fit which means coffee not only goes in the cup it goes all over your counter and the machine. We tried some of the home remedies suggest (tin foil, etc) and it doesn't work. It's just faulty design.

I just got my replacement B-60 machine from Keurig and discovered that the My K-Cup I had been using with my old machine leaked with the new machine. I compared the O-ring underneath my old machine and the new one, and they changed the material (old one was foam, new one is rubber) but it did not make a difference when I exchanged that part. What I noticed is that the leak problem is caused by the speed at which the water flows out -- it is much faster with the new machine.

After trying some things suggested here (moving the needle's O-ring down), the thing that worked was putting a wide rubber band just underneath the cap after it is screwed on. This raises the cup so that it is snug against the needle to make a better seal.

Works just like it says it will. It's a little bulkier that I expected but its not a big deal.

I purchased a Keurig coffee maker; however, I am very picky about the coffee I drink. I prefer flavored decaf coffee; however, there were not too many choices. So, I decided to purchase the reusable filter...and I am so glad! Now I get to use my Keurig and the specialty coffee I own. It works great! It makes a tasty cup of coffee with little waste. I love it and would recommend.

The only con was that it did not provide great directions for first use. The first time I used the product, I thought I just had to put the filter into the coffee maker. I was wrong and made a huge mess. Now that I know how to use it... I use it every single day!
