Lodge Color Enameled Cast-Iron 6-Quart Dutch Oven, Island Spice Red

It's made in China and it shows. I have been extremely careful with this pot and yet I'm seeing rust in one spot around the rim. Also, the lid has three equally spaced protrusions that keep it from making a tight seal. I wouldn't buy from Lodge again unless they brought the manufacturing back to the USA. If this is the type of cookware you really want, go with the real deal and get Le Cruset. (I have a smaller pot by them and the quality is much better)

This dutch oven is just as beautiful as practical. Started using it the first day it arrived and haven't stopped yet. Highly recommend it, great quality.

I bought this for my husband and he hasn't used it yet...I think he's waiting for the fall. The oven is really heavy and substantial. The color is a traditional rustic reddish hue. I thought that I may need to buy a different knob so that it doesn't melt in the oven, but the packaging said that it's safe to 400 degrees; otherwise install a metal one, or remove the high-temp plastic one. We'll never use it at a higher temperature, so I'm relieved. I'm glad I bought this for him. I can't wait for the many home style meals we'll enjoy!

I love it so much, I cook almost everything in it. I did have a small problem with mine where a chip of enamel came off the bottom but Lodge replaced it free after just one short, easy phone call. Their customer service was good, and the product is great. I love the surface-- not teflon, but not much sticks to it. The size is great-- it can cook a large roast or a batch of sauce, or just dinner for me when I'm on my own.
