My first ever coffee grinder, but I'm very impressed
I've never owned a coffee grinder before. I'm a relatively new coffee drinker, so I never had to own one before. But, with that said, I didn't expect this coffee grinder to be so effective, efficient, and powerful. It seriously blends whole coffee beans to dust within 2 seconds. I thought it might take even upwards of 10 seconds to do, but it's almost instant. I'm very pleased with the purchase. 2010-09-03
It lasted less than 2 years with very minimal use
I bought this grinder for herbs, nuts and chocolate grinding...nothing terribly hard and here I am in August 2010 trolling for a new grinder because this one seized up a few months ago which was the last time I needed it. I find that pretty telling. I wouldn't buy it again. 2010-09-01
We've used this every day since 1989!!!
This is a fantastic coffee grinder and I can't believe the exact same model is still available! My husband and I seriously bought ours in 1989 when we got our first apartment and have used it every day (at least once a day) since and it works as well now as it did then. We have seen other models and thought about getting them just because they have extra features, but we just couldn't rationalize buying them when this one does such a great job and has been so reliable. It is very straightforward and doesn't do anything fancy, but really, we consider ourselves hardcore java junkies and we don't need anything else. This grinder has seen us through several coffee makers--don't get me started--and has done a great job of grinding the coffee for over twenty years. What more can I say? 2010-08-29

The best part of waking up!
I bought this grinder to experience fresh coffee on a college student budget. It has filled the bill and I'm very pleased. The grinder is not that noisy when in operation and the grind is pretty even, especially for a grinder that is so cheap! It is a little hard to clean out after use, but a small paint brush from the hardware store does the trick and keeps it clean, oil free, and happy. 2010-08-22
