Calphalon Twill Pot Holder, Black Licorice

It is so nice to use pot holders that are very heat resistant and grip well. I feel confident carrying very hot things in these pot holders.

I ordered both the highly rated OXO pot holder and the Caphalon twill pot holder from amazon, so I could decide which one to keep.

I liked the Caphalon significantly better than the OXO, mostly for subtle issues like how it feels, folds, and fits. The quality was just better in almost all ways, and the black Caphalon felt like something I could use out on the grill just as elegantly as in the kitchen.

Those are real nice pot holder. They hold nice and keep the hands cool to touch. The black ones looks really sharp with the black appliances.

Just a note, be careful of the middle section. Me and my husband both burned ourselves not being careful at that location.

I bake often and had difficulty finding non-silicone pot holders that kept the heat out. These are great as they keep the heat out, are pretty flexible, have good grip and are machine washable and can be dried in the drier!

I have owned many different kinds of pot holders over the years and the silicon-coated Calphalon Twill Pot Holder is simply the best! Contrary to what a previous reviewer said, they are made of high quality material and are not flimsy at all. I definitely find them easier to use than those square silicon pot holders - or the small POT HANDLE holders made of silicon.

The only downside is that for $9.95, you only get one potholder - so a set is going to cost you $20. I like them so much that I bought a pair for my dad for Christmas. He is way too frugal so he would never put out that kind of money on his own -- and his own potholders are worthless.

The Calaphon Pot Holders come in assorted bright colors and make great gifts. Definitely an upscale item!
