AccuSharp 001 Knife Sharpener

I was a bit skeptical at first, but I have been using this sharpener for several months now and am very impressed. It is a quick easy way to put a sharp edge on any blade you use in the kitchen. I have used it on large and small kitchen knifes. I pulled out a knife the other day while making a dish that required sliced (halved) grape tomatoes. The knife I had was a bit dull and was squishing the tomatoes. I zipped the blade through the sharpener about 20 times, took about a minute. Then it went through the little guys zip zip zip. It's small, easy to store, and very safe. I'm going to get another one for my camping gear.

I have tried several types of sharperners and this is by far the best I have ever used. It is very easy to use and will give your knife a very sharp edge.

this is the real deal sharpener and its worth every last cents and when it wears out all you haave to do is buy a new one sine itss so cheap

Having spent hundreds of dollars over the years on various electric sharpeners that were a pain to use and in my unskilled hands produced dubious results, I was intrigued by this very inexpensive simple looking device on Amazon. But for the reviews, I would have assumed that it could not work.

Was I ever wrong. It is great. A few simple strokes, and dull useless knives suddenly slice through things perfectly. Even roll sausage that always came out a squashed mess now slices into lovely round disks. I am in the process of giving one to everyone I know. It is wonderful when something actually works. A delight.

After toting my cooking knives around in my car to drop off at the sharpening shop, never seeming to catch them open, I decided to try again at home. I chose the AccuSharp 001 and was very happy with it to say the least. Within minutes I was slicing and dicing again with "new" knives. Very happy. Would recommend them hands down.
